Well, you're not Tom Brady.

Didn't Ty Wheatley, Jr already commit?
Muhammed and Friday alone would make this class successful
anything more a bonus
17-26 with 21 or 20 is the likely class size
another possibility
This is likely. Logan Brown has a lot of CB's as well, mentioned above. But the only Wiltfong I see is this kid. Just visited

Somebody will include Michigan in his top 11 or 18.

Meh... I was hoping for Lil' Sebastian.
The folks over at Rivals said Sammy Faustin yesterday so take that for what it's worth

Dont care that your mocking me but I agree. Doesn't move the needle.
In yadda Harbaugh YAdda Trust YaDa. I don't get that much enjoyment in unearthing diamonds in the low 3*. I kinda like the Bama, Ohio State, Clemson model of recruiting the best ranked you can get like 5*s & 4*s. Seems to have worked out for them.

Clemson hasn't recruited at OSU or Bama's level, but that is beside the point.
I also remember the ARGHHH Josh Metellus, NO STARZZZZ rage, and he is going to be a multiple year starter. The staff may know a thing about scouting talent. I mean most of them have NFL backgrounds and all.
August 2nd, 2017 at 10:38 PM ^
It is besides the point and was not my point but thank you for pointing out the obvious.
I also like how you have penciled in Metellus as a multi year starter based on blowout min, a bowl game and a spring game. You think a 4 or 5 star with elite athleticism might be able to take his spot hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?
I want everyone to succeed but it has been proven that the higher the ranking the more likely a chance for success. The truth is that no one knows how recruits will turn out til 3 or 4 years down the road especially for lower ranked guys. HOWEVER it is ok to question recruiting. it does not make you a bad fan or mean that you hope these kids do not succeed.

2016
Clemson: 21 commits (9 commits 3 star or lower - 43% of class) ranked 11th in the nation
Michigan: 28 commits (14 commits 3 star or lower - 50% of class) ranked 8th in the nation
2017
Clemson: 14 commits (4 commits 3 star or lower - 29% of class) ranked 16th in the nation
Michigan: 30 commits (9 commits 3 star or lower - 30% of class) ranked 4th in the nation
2018 so far
Clemson:11 commits (4 commits 3 star or lower - 36% of class) currently ranked 14th
Michigan: 13 commits (4 commits 3 star or lower - 31% of class) currently ranked 15th
God I can't wait for the day where we can recruit on Clemsons level and not take so many 3 stars. I hope we can get as many 4 and 5 stars as them. /s Since Harbaugh has brought in full classes we have out recruited clemson and brought in more 4/5 stars. We are doing just fine.

leave out that their avg rating is higher? convenient. Again it wasnt my point. Change Clemson for FSU if it is easier for you to comprehend the argument.
I left out avg rank because I inlcuded their national ranking which takes into account the amount of players. We have brought in 25 more players in during that time I would hope that their avg. rating would be higher. But if you really want to know ours is .9038 and clemsons is .9151 which really isnt that significant considering how many more guys we have brought in.
2016
Florida State: 26 (8 commits 3 star or lower - 31%) 3rd ranked class
2017
Florida State: 24 (10 commits 3 star or lower - 42%) 6th ranked class
2018
Florida State: 17 (8 commits 3 star or lower - 47%) 9th ranked
I don't know what to tell you, we are recruting at an elite level. Bama and Ohio State are in a class of their own right now and there is a huge gap. Yes i would love for us to get there eventually but we are right there in the next tier. You are misinformed trying to say that Clemson and Florida State are recruiting better than us
From 2016 to now
Michigan: 71 commits, 44 4 stars or higher, avg rank: .9038
Florida State: 67 commits, 41 4 stars or higher, avg rank: .9063
Clemson: 46 commits, 29 4 stars or higher, avg rank: .9151
If florida state is the level you want us to recruit at we dont have to go very far, just have to up our avg rating .0025 lol.
Consensus seems to be Faustin.
I'll take Reese Taylor for 1,000 points Alex.

Najee discouraged about playing time and how difficult engineering courses are. Transfer to Michigan is expecred. He did not deny it.

Yes but it mostly involves Legos and nap time.

Bill Kramer is not given to hyperbole.
Naples High School's Hall of Fame head coach has seen dozens of Division I prospects come through his program over the years. He knows rising senior defensive back Sammy Faustin has a chance to be special.
"I don't say this, you've never heard me say this, but he's the guy that can play on Sundays," Kramer said.

Im gonna go out on a limb and say its a total surprise (someone from the BBQ) that people thought was going to wait awhile to make his decision ....
Class 19 Marvin Grant 4-Star CB/S local kid (MLK) 6'1 204
I was thinking the same thing Ralph, as the BBQ has routinely provided nice surprizes in the form of under the radar commitments.
