Thought I'd pass along Greg Garno column in the Daily featuring quotes never uttered by a Michigan fan -- the one complaining about Beilein's loud, uneducated tirades may be the best.

Was a widely held sentiment in 2007 and still heard occasionally in 2011.

None of the bodies are proven and at QB that is a worry. Can you legitimately say you're comfortable with the starter much less his back up?

Well there is a lot of depth quantity wise, quality remains to be seen. Hopefully we enter the fall with both.

With the Fab 5 we got 15 years in BB purgatory for what? No Big Ten Championships, no NCAA Championships. If you're going to defend the Fab 5, just come out and say it.
Under Beilein, we're respectable again, chances are teams can get hot and go farther in the tourney than they did in conference, Sparty is doing it this year... but to twist my point about the Fab 5 and juxtapose it with 2013 may be technically correct but it is disingenuous on your part at best.

It's true. I was nodding while I read it. That place sucks. In fact, it's a confluence of suck: shitty concrete oval with a brick suite/press box jammed into the side and a seizure-inducing HD billboard strip along the lower-level ring. I don't even like watching Spartan Stadium on television.
