Classic Michigan license plates returning

All right all right, I know this is technically not allowed during non-OT season but I was getting tired of seeing that Pettiti Wikipedia page thread at the top and thought, "hey I'll do a shit post since we're all looking for something to click on."

Anyway, I was excited to read that, per this MLive article, Michigan will be reintroducing 3 retired license plate styles: The classic white letters on blue, the simple but elegant white letters on black, and the oh-so-rad 1976 American flag design. Any of those babies would look beautiful on, say, a silver '04 Accord 6-cylinder.

Mucho respect to those of you enduring this late night refreshathon. I'm in it for the long haul, waiting for the drop...

As long as they continue to offer the deep blue, Water - Winter - Wonderland plate.

It's my favorite and had, until recently, been in circulation. Really don't want that to end.

Thanks for the break. Love the maize and blue water winter wonderland plates, but the white on black is handsome AF.

I remember when I started paying attention to different states plates was on a road-trip to Michigan vs Penn State in (I think) 95… game almost was canceled due to snow. We lost. But I thought it was weird Michigan plates were blue and white, and Pennsylvania plates were blue and yellow.

Growing up I used to recognize state license plates.  There are so many different types for each state now that I don't know which state is which. I live in KY and don't even know what all of ours are anymore.
