Citrus Bowl Tickets just came from UM athletic office!

Submitted by Zoltanrules on

Pumped up to be in the student endzone section 146 with my frosh daughter for her first UM Bowl Game. It's so great to be back playing on New Year's Day (yeah I know the playoffs are on the 31st). This will be a great cap to a season that had many major question marks going into it, besides Harbaugh.

Anyone else get their tickets yet? I see Ticket City has their ad here...

Not thrilled with the seats, as they are endzone at the Plaza level, but hey, it's Michigan football for me and I don't make it out to AA as often as I'd like. Price was reasonable too, so can't complain.

Also, I think these are in the new seating area at the Citrus Bowl since the section doesn't even exist on the seating map that came with the seats (derp).

We play after the playoff teams which means we're better right? In fact, we're guaranteed to last longer in the season than two of the teams in the playoffs. Which basically means we're above them and just below the finalists

you are kidding but there is something wrong with the playoff games being before the other "good" bowl games on New Years Day.  The playoff should have a decided "build up" to it.  It should be the culmination of the football mania that proceeded it.  I say move the Rose Bowl when it does not have a playoff game or always have one of the playoff games be the Rose Bowl.

A little higher in the endzone corner in the Michigan section. This will be about my third trip to the Citrus Bowl. It's not a bad venue from a spectator's POV, but the neighborhood leaves something to be desired. Definitely do the fifty bucks or so and park in the designated parking areas.

Funny, I lived in Orlando for years.  I passed the Citrus Bowl every day on my way to work.

NOW, that I get a job in Hunt Valley, MD, they are going to the Citrus Bowl.

I promised my daughter for years that we'd go.  "Don't worry sweetheart. This is Michigan, they'll be good again any day now and we can see them here more likely than not.

I'm in 23 4, Row U. I feel like I should bring my binocs. I've seen two different  seating maps of the Citrus Bowl that don't look anything alike. Am I skywriting, or on the first level? Anyone know?
