YES! The only thing keeping Michigan from success against Ohio State is being pissed at a former coach leaving for more money and a promotion.

Do seemingly intelligent commenters actually believe that a lack of motivation on Michigan's side is the biggest problem facing this football program against OSU? Really?

Michigan keeps losing to Ohio State because for the past 2 decades or so they've had better players, better coaches and more good fortune. This isn't a fucking movie where we get to slow clap Coach Partridge, roll out the footballs and win by 40.

He should have taken OSU's receivers running past our safeties all game personally.  That might have helped more.

It's not ok... I know people on here want to rationalize his actions by taking a step up, but come on, this is one of two teams you don't take a step up to.  The other obviously MSU.  I lost a lot of respect for Mattison the day it was announced he left.  I am less concerned with Washington, because Mattison was a legend here and the moment he announced he was leaving for a team he once referred to as "ohio," he lost all respect in my book.

More salt into the wound, as nothing beats being reminded time after time of the beatdown. Will the pain and agony ever go away? Is beating Ohio State enough to ease the waxing of a 62-39 game? Or will it take a similar score to assuage the Maize and Blue.

Thanks Coach Partridge.
