Hi all,

The UM Club of Greater Chicago is hosting a group event at the June 17th WNBA Champion Chicago Sky game when they host the Atlanta Dream. This will be Naz's first WNBA game in Chicago.

You can buy $20 tickets through the alumni association through this link here:

(Non AAUM members can buy tickets for $30)

I have absolutely nothing against women's sports. I went to 4 Michigan Women's basketball games this season.  2 Volleyball games 2 Softball games and a Women's gymnastics meet. The WNBA is just an awful product imo. Attendance at the games is 2000-3000 max. I went to 1 WNBA game in the early 2000s when Detroit had a team, I was bored out of my mind.

You might want to take another look. The women's game is evolving at a much faster rate than the men's, and the play is increasingly impressive. Having a kid whose education and life progress always felt paramount, I have been felt I or we had the money for a blowout on any professional sports. So I am with you there. Your comment just seems needlessly pejorative.

Are they as strong and fast as the men?  Nope...  But they're game is still infested with obscene talent and play making.  Adjust your expectations and you can have a good time.  Go in expecting to see an NBA game and you're going to be disappointed.  Go in expecting a good basketball game between even teams and you can easily enjoy the show.

It's so lazy to say 'I'm bored because they're not as good as men'...  If you find that to be the case, then you don't really like the game itself.
