Doesn't Charles know that 95% of the fans on here are happy with 0-10 on the road against teams with a pulse?

Tired of Woodson bitching.  Hasn't shown up on Fox pregame since Wisconain game and keeps complaining.   Do something about it and talk to the coaches.  Get on the staff and fix the problems. You are better because Urban Meyer know the solutions and points them out on national TV.  And now you know we don't have a great coach like OSU, Bama or Clemson.  This program is not elite.   Face the facts.

Tough anonymous poster calling me a jackass.  I'm as frustrated as anyone with the losing and have called out the coaches multiple times.  Harbaugh and Brown piss me off with poor decisions and game plans, but former players like Woodson can do more than complain.  He could show at any practice and talk to players or coaches.

They battled hard last night, but the penalties and the poor defensive game planning cost this program a victory.  Bitching in a public forum just looks bad by top former players

He obviously made that comment in the first half, I hope.  Because the Michigan offense owned the second half only to be let down by the defense.  When are we ever going to row this fucker in the same direction?

They put up 26 first downs and 417 yards on a pretty good defense in a tough environment. As far as people complaining about the lack of bombs, there was a reason why  Patterson was finding open guys short and intermediate. Penn State was most likely gameplanning against giving up those bombs. The playcalling was taking what they were being given, which is something we have been complaining about them not doing for years. They also incorporated more speed in space stuff with the wr screens. They had two redzone chances taken away by a bad call and bad non call. I will say the RB rotation was not great  and did not give enough carries to the back who was clearly the best tonight. Also three of the scores on defense could be blamed on the defensive playcalling for allowing bad matchups on the plays they got beat on. Penn State pretty much had nothing else besides those 4-5 plays.

Good summation.  Crazy how we can't seem to ever fall on the side of connecting on the huge plays that eventually seal the game for us.  I think we outplayed them tonight as a whole, save for some shitty defensive matchups that they took advantage of and I guess credit to them...but how the hell does every team seem to MAKE those plays, most of the time.  As you state...without those handful of plays, we outplayed them.  IFs and buts I know but man, it's frustrating.  And it sucks to sound like a bitter loser but goddammit the officiating can suck balls.  Everything settled in eventually including the officiating but huge calls/no calls allowed them to go up 21-0.  Why are we supposed to just accept that and move on?  Those few calls were early but set up and made the game what it was.  It can't be ignored.  How many games do we benefit from with bogus calls ONLY against the other team?  I've got nothing.

The team will fall apart slowly especially if we lose next week. A few guys might shut down for the year to prepare for the NFL’s too. It’s a shame so much wasted talent....again

Glaring absence of the deep ball and general proclivity to take any shots downfield also hurt us.  Penn State won the scoreboard because of the deep ball and Browns arrogance.

Look .... I get the moral victory for some here. It’s nice.  Some feel better from it.  I even feel alittle brighter today.  But in the end, we still lost (again) to a ranked team on the road.  In year 5, when do we turn the corner and win some of these games?

This is all true, unfortunately.  But I and seemingly others here would argue the corner was turned last night.  We got screwed, unfortunately and history will show, as you state that this is yet again another loss.  (Ohio State would seemingly never go into Happy Valley and get jobbed like that) But goddammit even though Bell dropping that ball depleted me and I also thought "all this effort still just counts as a loss", I can't ignore how well I saw that offense perform last night, despite getting screwed and put in a 21-0 hole, and it helps the outlook going forward.  Ignore the downers here who couldn't see a damn good gameplan (coaching) and damn good performance by many players (yea our WRs had some droppsies but many blocked well, DID catch some balls, etc.).
