Championship Preview on ESPN+
A video recap of each team's season from ESPN+. Michigan starts a little after the 21:00 mark. I hope they will do an episode 2 this week focused on bowl prep.

Fuck ESPN, I only watch what's convenient for me, so much of their BS is biased and unwatchable.

As someone who feels similarly towards ESPN, it really frustrates me that the NHL streaming package is only offered through ESPN+

Kinda sorta a thread jack, but this is similar and isn't thread worthy on its own. Some ESPN studio host interviewed Harbaugh, although it wasn't very noteworthy on its own. Couple of quotes, though: host asked how much fun it was coaching this team, Harbaugh: 'it's great, it's like watching dolphins swim - everybody is together and playing and just having fun, there's no struggling in the water'. LOL - he compared his team to dolphins!
The host also asked which group was killing it (or something like that), and Harbaugh named of s number of position groups and was still going when the host cut him off, saying 'you didn't name yourself in there'. Harbaugh's answer was perfect: 'well, I don't block or tackle anyone, I get to just sit back and watch the fun. If it goes bad, that's my fault because I have to get them ready, and if its wrong I didn't do that.' Once again, he's taking blame and giving credit - which is what great leaders do.
It was such a simple interview with no groundbreaking stuff, but it shows what he is as a coach. And that's more than most any other coach in the business.

There's an old (dirty) joke about "how to make your spouse imitate a dolphin" that I can't stop thinking about now. Thanks a lot...

The Dolphins went undefeated 50 years ago too.

People are actually willing to pay $10 a month for ESPN+ content?
December 26th, 2022 at 1:40 PM ^
Yes, and I love it. Lots of sports games that are not on anywhere else. Full access to their 30 for 30 library, and good content on the website. I generally think ESPN does a great job covering things, they just don’t talk about things not on their network family.

It comes free with the Hulu/Disney+ package which often gets bundled with phone service. People think they are getting ESPN so there is a perceived value even though it is garbage.

The best part of ESPN+ is the additional NHL and college sports games that you get. Not really for Michigan or Red Wings games, but out of market NHL games and non-P5 football and basketball. I know people find their editorial and pro-SEC approach distasteful, but they are a good source for additional live sports.

FWIW i think you can still get the Disney+/Hulu/ESPN+ bundle for $15. depending on one's tastes and familial makeup, the Disney+ could be worth that alone, in which case you're getting the ESPN+ for free.

Say what you will about having to listen to their blatant SEC bias, but some of their original programming is really stinking good. I love a lot of the 30 for 30s, and the Derek Jeter “Captain” series has been great.
I’m never going to listen to Finebaum or Stephen A, but they’ve got some really good original content that is worth paying for.

ESPN+ also comes with the greatest movie in history: The Empire Strikes Back.

They’re lucky to keep their doors open with the worthless regurgitated free shit let alone charging for info I can get off a dozen other sites.

How do you know if you don’t have acces?

ESPN+ killed my puppy. Can’t believe you suckers pay $10 for it.
