CFB Night Games Thread
Still doesn't feel the same without B1G playing yet.
Bama looks like Bama...probably practiced right through Covid all year. Rolling Missouri right now.
Miami finally has a QB- looking good against FSU.
Curious which 4 SEC teams will be ranked in the top 5 this week.
Bama, UF, UGA, Miss ST?

Seeing Eric Gray make plays is so upsetting.

He's had 12 carries and averaged a very pedestrian 3 yards per carry.

UGA has Auburn, Tennessee, and Alabama for their next three games. If they’re still top 5 they won’t be for long.
They remind me of Michigan’s offense at the start of last year. I doubt they figure it out in the next 3 weeks.

It's SEC. They can lose all 3 and still be top 10.
It just means more.

Me, Sparty and Shea all pull up in a car.
Shea says: "Get in loser, we're gonna study the Bible."

I really hate to admit this , but Miami looks like a real good team .
September 26th, 2020 at 9:27 PM ^
Why do you hate to admit it? It’s about time they become a force again. Prob won’t last much longer than the D’eriq king era tho.
September 26th, 2020 at 9:46 PM ^
I say that because I dont like Miami , never have .
I also dont think its good that programs that were so far beneath us for so many years may have surpassed us .

Yeah, I don't see this as a bad thing. We have been recruiting as well or better than them during the Harbaugh era. It just proves, once again, that QB is the most important position and then DT and D-line. Miami finally has a legit QB.
We've been an elite QB away from a couple playoff appearances in the Harbaugh era. If anything, Miami's emergence should give us hope.
Clemson has owned OSU and gone toe to toe with Bama with less talent across the board because of better QB play and dominant DT play.
Game outcome variance due to skill positions amongst the top 15 teams is much lower than variance caused by QB and D-line play.

Oof
The Norvell era has not started out well for FSU.
September 26th, 2020 at 9:58 PM ^
Good. Fuck FSU. I hate FSU.
September 26th, 2020 at 9:37 PM ^
Just turned on the Miami game. Looks about normal crowd size for a home game for them

Since Florida State beat Michigan in the Orange Bowl the Seminoles are 3 games below .500. It's insane how far they've fallen after entering the following season #2 in the country.
September 26th, 2020 at 9:47 PM ^
That stupid game. Coming all the way back only to have to it end like THAT.
Good riddance to that program’s trouble ever since. It should have started one game sooner.
September 26th, 2020 at 10:42 PM ^
Time for FSU to hire Prime Time?
September 26th, 2020 at 10:54 PM ^
Florida State is bad, really bad.
SEC is going to be interesting, if boring as Alabama rolls everyone.

"Going to be interesting, if boring..."
I am confused.

Okay, we know exactly where everything stands, now that we're into the season for two weeks...three weeks...four weeks? Who's on first?
