I still don't understand how anyone can look at Michigan and Michigan State last year, look at who each team lost, look at who each team added, and then proceed to rank Michigan State above Michigan.

A defending final four team with charles matthews, Simpson, Teske, Jordan Poole and a top 10 recruiting class should be much higher than 19 IMO

I think we fall out of the rankings before we move substantially up. The board will be grumbling about another slow start and then the team will gel and will finish as a much better team than we started. Isn't that what a Beilein team does in any non Trey Burke year? We lost a lot of scoring. We bring in one of the best recruiting classes Beilein has ever had.

I was thinking the same thing. A couple early losses will hurt as roles get established, but oh boy they're gonna be fun to watch when it all comes together.

MSU at #10 is laughable. I think Michigan at #19 is fine. Maybe slightly low. Oregon getting a ton of love for their recruiting class.

I agree about us. I have doubts about our shooting/offense, especially early season. We have some tough early season games so I wouldn't be surprised to see us drop out of the top 25 again at some point before putting it together in B1G play.
