Can we backtrack a little about JH's offense

39 points is plenty. If the TE catch maybe another 10. His control offense has been tried and trued. Think I'm full of BS? Think back to the Army-Oklahoma game about 4 games into the season. After 60 minutes the score was tied 21-21. Army had zero business being in the game let alone tied. Army controlled the ball and the clock. Oklahoma wins in OT and you know that Army had a very limited aerial attack so calls for a new look Aerial Assault should consider Army (which earned a standing O from the Norman fans).

Can we stop acting like our offense moved the ball consistently and scored 39 points evenly over the course of this game? We had 13 points in 6 seconds thanks to a fumble in the redzone. Our back up QB's scored two touchdowns in garbage time once we were down by about a hundred points.

The offense needs to change, and quick.

Almost every game I yell at my TV as to why we continue to run Evans up the middle. Sure, every now and then he will break through and get 6-8 yards but most of the time he is stopped at the line. How many plays have we ran that get Evans in space? Get Evans the ball in space and he can make a play with his feet and can take it it to the house like he did against FSU, does anyone remember that? We completely under-utilize our offensive weapons and never seem to create plays that are catered to their ability..

The defense has been there for 2+ years but our offense has been the same. I truly believe we could have won 2-3 more games last year even with our 3rd string QB had we utilized our playmakers more efficiently...SMH. Really hope Harbaugh got "the memo"..

Michigan's offensive performance was very poor. Their opponent was awful on defense, which can't be forgotten. Ohio State's defense is coached by one of the most incompetent coaches in America, and they got lit up by everyone. Michigan managed 19 points through three quarters, with 7 of them coming on a short field after a gift turnover. Scoring a bunch of 4th quarter garbage time scores once the game was effectively over means nothing. Running over and over against a defense that effectively has no defense against slot receivers is malpractice and should be a cause to push assistants out the door the way Durkin was encouraged to find a HC job after the debacle in year one against Ohio.

The strategy was flawed. Michigan is basically Army: if they get an early lead you're in trouble. If you can score quickly early, they're done.

The O needs to improve to the point where we at least have a shot at winning shootout games. Because the D isn’t always going to keep the opposing team in check.

OSU did not have an elite defense, so playing catch up and getting 39 is not the same as scoring first and having leads.

I believe that Harbaugh needs to tweak the offense—particularly how he calls games. This team stalls in the red zone too many times. The game is different if he takes more risks earlier and tries to establish a passing game. I’ve been understanding of the whole run to wear down the defense, but that is not happening in The Game.
