Calling All Wolverines In Oregon!
I am currently in Corvallis for grad school.
I know the Thirsty Lion is The Michigan bar in Portland. Was anyone there last night? How was the turn out?
I was kinda hoping to not have to drive to Ptown but will if necessary.
Are there any other Wolverines In the valley getting together?
Let me know and I'll be there! Go Blue!
All six of them?
I kid, I kid!
We are everywhere... even Oregon!
Actually the thirsty lion gets 100s for football games.

The Thirsty Lion gets 100s for football but I would be surprised if they get more than 15 tomorrow, even for an NC. The club up here does a pretty poor job of organizing for sporting events. Your best bet is going to a bar in Corvallis and being as obnoxious as possible trying to get people to rally around your cause.
in Portland, two blocks from my house, sipping a Lagunitas.
If only they had Oberon on tap . . .
You must be new here.
Seriously. Oregon has fantastic craft beers and wines. Oberon is good but I'll take several Oregon brews any day.
It would just feel more like home drinking one. There are at least 20 local brews I prefer, but it's like coming back for some good Middle Eastern food, or a Zingerman's No. 8.
I live in Seattle but I'll b in Portland for the weekend. I'm stopping at BWW in Vancouver for the game before I go home.
Can you guys tell me if the dream of the 90's is really still alive in Portland?
I'm in Corvallis but I doubt you want to try and watch with my kids screaming and climbing over you.

<br>I'd go to Portland. Larger crowds= more fun.
If you do come to Portland; avoid Blitz on SE 12th with all your might. It's an Ohio State bar. And it's three blocks from my house. Sweet, sweet torture.
I sleep 'til 11.
drop me an email. My fellow wolverine buddy and I would be up to watch the game at the Thirsty Lion or any other bar in that area. My email is [email protected].
