Brian Kelly is still an ass
Interesting review of some of Brian Kelly's more classy comments.

Also, to hell with Notre Dame.
Edit: I have heard rumors from some family/friends inside of CMU that Kelly had done these kind of things while there, but was overlooked since the team did so well while he was there. They did not (or could not) give any specifics, but if anyone has any info about it please share.
Epilogue: EDSBS put out a good feature also http://www.everydayshouldbesaturday.com/2016/10/14/13268754/the-picture…October 14th, 2016 at 2:10 PM ^

Looking at this .gif all I can do is wonder what they did to allow the diver to walk. Fill his suit with air?

Scuba divers have inflatable vests and weight belts that allow them to control their bouyancy so they can remain at certain depths.
He probably had his vest inflated and maybe went down without a weight belt and flipped upside down under the ice. The inflated vest would then push him towards the surface, allowing it to seem like he was walking on the ice.
Then he'd fill the buckets with air using his breathing aparatus to give the illusion of dumping air into the upside down wheelbarrow.

That makes sense, though it does raise the question of how they got the wheelbarrow there.
October 14th, 2016 at 3:01 PM ^
By the way the air from the bucket comes off the wheelbarrow, it seems like the wheelbarrow may already be filled with air. May be that its center of gravity and weight is such that it can be held to the ice using that air.
Just a guess.

Maybe. Getting the wheelbarrow in place seems like a non-trivial undertaking. I wonder if they stumbled on a wheelbarrow already frozen in the ice and just took advantage of it. This .gif raises so many interesting quesitons!

Here's the whole video and the story behind it.
In short, they filmed it upsidedown.

...at about 80 feet (or maybe even not that deep) you don't float anymore. Or so a TV show told me.

He can't get it into the wheelbarrow because his form is all wrong.

October 14th, 2016 at 2:20 PM ^
can't wait to play them and see what Harbaugh does to Kelly's team.
Unfortunately, based on what's happened so far this year looks like Kelly won't make it that long. There may be a new coach, and excuses about rebuilding/new coach if the game doesn't go ND's way.

You don't see ND fans giving Michigan any quarter for Hoke's last rodeo in South Bend. And they shouldn't.

Kelly truly is an ass.
I'm sure those quotes only scratch the surface of how he blames other people and doesn't take responsibility in his mind.
He's lucky the strength and conditioning coach decided to be a bigger man and not to punch him on the spot.

I remember reading about that. Other schools were cancelling outdoor practices because of the weather, and he had a kid videotaping up in a tower. And of course, didn't take any responsibility. Not sure if he turned purple and called the kid a "f*#@ing moron" after he hit ground, but wouldn't be surprising.
October 14th, 2016 at 3:50 PM ^
Bacon was talking about this on WTKA last week. Asshole Kelly wanted to "cone off the area" and continue with his practice. Someone with some common sense and some pull came over to him and told him that they would not be continuing on with practice. He is a Class A dickhead.
I can't wait for the day when one of his players knocks him the fuck out. It will happen one of these days.

His center should have done it last week. I would have cost be damned. I can take an ass chewing but not on national tv.
