Blake Countess was cut and picked up
Blake used to volunteer at Peace Neighborhood Center in Ann Arbor back when I was doing my MSW internship. A great young man who truly was there to work with and empower the youth there.
He always seemed like a good guy. I hope things work out well for him.
Missed him in ‘15.
Still kind of confused why Harbaugh didn’t think Countess was good enough for a fifth year scholarship.
Lewis was the clear-cut #1 and Harbaugh and Durkin loves Stribling. Granted Countess would have been a money nickel corner, I think he probably made the best career choice
Isn't Countess a zone corner? Seems like Harbaugh prefers himself man to man especially now that Brown is here

I’m still confused that Harbaugh thought it was a good idea to hire the OC from a winless NFL team.
The general viewing public, somehow, has this idea that, especially, good coaches are deities of perfection. Even the best make plenty of mistakes of judgement. The college scene is ripe with opportunities for mistakes. Coaches, especially at the college level, get inpatient with very talented kids who may be more quiet-just need to be given more opportunity.

Good kid, and a good football player. I remember that great freshman season he had in ‘11. Thought he was going to be a star.
