Blake Corum provides injury update
I was tempted to offer an update on a random transfer portal tidbit about a player that thinks Michigan is the capital of Canada. Instead, here's actual information!
In an interview with 247 that is not behind a paywall, Blake Corum offers updates about his injury:
It’s just a nagging pain. So I’m just, you know, we have the best trainers, I’m in there every day with them. They’re getting me right. So like I said, we'll see, we'll see. If I play Saturday, whenever I’m able to play, day by day, you know. Stay with my teammates, get them right, stay in the film and then, you know, treat every game, every opportunity like it’s a championship game. So I'm preparing the same each week whether I’m playing or not. So we shall see Saturday whether I’m playing or not.

That does not sound like he is playing on Saturday. Hopefully we don't need him to.

He said the exact same thing on B1G Today to Dave Revsine. Mike Morris was interviewed on the same platform Tuesday and basically said the same about his injury / status. It sounded like both guys were taught to answer the question without answering the question.

He isn't playing Saturday nor should he. Rest.up and hope to play later.

My guess is he will probably sit this weekend. They won in Columbus without him, so they're probably thinking they can do it against an 8-4 Purdue team as well.
No need to risk aggravating the injury any further as they gear up for the CFP. He'll luckily have a full month off to rehab, so I'd like to think that will mean by December 31st he'll be ready to go!

No way we see him Saturday playing unless absolutely necessary. Need him for CFP. Stokes needs to be coached up because he has looked really fast hitting a gap but needs to get the vision thing improved. If only UM had a running backs coach who might be good at that. :)

Sounds like he's not playing. Mike Morris probably isn't either if I had to guess, both of those guys had multi-week injuries

Everyone thought he was gonna be just fine then he went and got a diagnosis from the same guy who diagnosed Benjamin St Juste and now it seems things are much more dire than anyone ever imagined....
