YEAHHHHH that was awesome
December 30th, 2018 at 12:29 PM ^
why is this stewart guy trying to go at Matthews
December 30th, 2018 at 12:31 PM ^
Start to build a lead only to go on another multiple-minute scoring drought. Good lord.
December 30th, 2018 at 12:31 PM ^
Our centers need to learn how to dunk.
December 30th, 2018 at 12:31 PM ^
my opinion on teske has changed, he’s not that good.
December 30th, 2018 at 12:31 PM ^
The missed short range shots and the breakdown in D is a bit maddening.
December 30th, 2018 at 12:31 PM ^
I’m officially concerned about this team. Doing a reverse Beilein and getting worse as the year progresses.
December 30th, 2018 at 12:31 PM ^
FFS this is how these teams hang around
December 30th, 2018 at 12:32 PM ^
so many bunnies missed
December 30th, 2018 at 12:32 PM ^
Most wide open missed 2 pointers in the history of basketball. Ughhh
December 30th, 2018 at 12:32 PM ^
That awkward moment when you’re a better 3 pt team than 2 pt team.
December 30th, 2018 at 12:33 PM ^
Expected after a little time off but they do look a bit rusty in spots.
December 30th, 2018 at 12:35 PM ^
They've looked "rusty" for the last half dozen games lets not kid ourselves.
December 30th, 2018 at 12:34 PM ^
Poole, Iggy, and Livers can shoot. Everyone else is a role player today.
December 30th, 2018 at 12:34 PM ^
Another half where Michigan plays down to its level of competition at home. What's new.
December 30th, 2018 at 12:34 PM ^
We miss so many open shots very close to the rim. It's been multiple games, so I think it's just a trend.
December 30th, 2018 at 12:35 PM ^
Binghamton isn’t exactly cowering to the #2 in the land. Attacking the basket with impunity
December 30th, 2018 at 12:35 PM ^
We were seriously favored by nearly 40???...easy money that I'm sure most of us passed on.
December 30th, 2018 at 12:39 PM ^
Kenpom has us as a 30 point favorite.
December 30th, 2018 at 12:50 PM ^
I think Vegas had us as a 39.5 point favorite.
December 30th, 2018 at 12:35 PM ^
even though he made it Teske mid-range is hard to watch
December 30th, 2018 at 12:36 PM ^
We’ve wasted a lot of good opportunities to get young guys much needed experience the last 3 weeks. Looks like we are going to do it again today
December 30th, 2018 at 12:36 PM ^
Zone offense approach is way better. Just need to hit the bunnies and they'll blow them out Also need more Livers, he's playing very well today.
December 30th, 2018 at 12:37 PM ^
Instead of taking those 8 foot jumpers, drive it and dunk. They have no size to stop you and worst case will draw fouls.
December 30th, 2018 at 1:16 PM ^
This. Why wasn't this the first adjustment after the break?
December 30th, 2018 at 12:37 PM ^
Need to attack the heart of the zone with either Matthews or Iggy. Guys who can hit that mid range and attack. It'll open up some easy baskets down low for Teske or whoever is down there. Get that high low going.
December 30th, 2018 at 12:37 PM ^
I was really hoping for a dominating performance from the hoops team after yesterday's debacle. Not happening. I'm getting worried that Indiana is going to beat us in Crisler. Maybe not the worst thing in the world if it jars this team out of its funk.
December 30th, 2018 at 12:38 PM ^
Bardo is right tho. Michigan plays like the NBA where the mid range game is inefficient and nonexistent.
Good plan by the opposing coach for making us shoot shots were not used to.
December 30th, 2018 at 12:43 PM ^
Was that his point? He didn't state it very coherently.
December 30th, 2018 at 1:02 PM ^
Bardo is incapable of saying anything remotely coherent. There's a reason he doesn't work for ESPN anymore.
December 30th, 2018 at 12:41 PM ^
Not worried. Adjustments will be made. These long layoffs are fucking with the mojo.
Once the regular schedule starts up we’ll be fine
December 30th, 2018 at 1:19 PM ^
I love it when our fans cling to these ideas like there is any basis in reality. If it's been mentioned by Brian, then it must be right.
Great teams have no problem burying teams like this. We are not great right now.
December 30th, 2018 at 12:41 PM ^
Michigan is attacking this zone properly, getting the ball in high post rather easily and often. Problem is they can’t finish majority of the close looks.
December 30th, 2018 at 12:41 PM ^
Get the ball in the middle and attack the bottom of the zone and we would be up 15 or so. Instead we take terrible looking jump shots that clang of the heel of the rim. And you if straight line drive right at Michigan’s defense you will get easy buckets. If I can see it then I’m sure B1G coaches could games ago.
December 30th, 2018 at 12:42 PM ^
This is not the same team that played earlier in the year. If they don’t figure it out there is going to be a lot of losses coming. There last 4 games have not been great at all.
December 30th, 2018 at 12:49 PM ^
These past 3 weeks (for our basketball team) have started to feel a lot like the Rutgers and Indiana games were in football. You can feel there are issues that many fans are dismissing. Maybe beating the likes of NC and Villanova aren't nearly as impressive as we all originally thought they were (ala...the football wins over the likes of Wisky, MSU, etc)
Be honest...does anyone want this team to play MSU "tomorrow" (regardless of the venue)? I sure as hell don't.
And...just like the football team, we aren't getting enough reps for the backups.
Starting to get very nervous...
December 30th, 2018 at 12:56 PM ^
Parallels are very similar. But on a scale of 1 to 10 in confidence our coach can fix what it is and get the most out of our guys, coach B gets an 8.5 and Harbaugh gets a 2.
December 30th, 2018 at 1:30 PM ^
A voice of reason. This is so very true. However, that doesn't mean this team won't improve greatly throughout the year. Right now though, they have work to do.
December 30th, 2018 at 12:51 PM ^
Man, we have a lot of little weenies in this fanbase.
December 30th, 2018 at 12:54 PM ^
Their thoughts may be warranted...I read a lot of "your" type of comments during the Rutgers and Indiana football games...
...turns out those "weenie" fans had good reasons to be concerned.
December 30th, 2018 at 12:55 PM ^
Let's hope for a better 2nd half, Go Blue!!!
December 30th, 2018 at 12:56 PM ^
You should always take what the defense gives you if it’s a good look. However that doesn’t always apply to the mid range game anymore. Guys aren’t used to to taking that shot in a game anymore and it shows. So unless our guys morph into Dirk Nowitzki we need to look elsewhere.
December 30th, 2018 at 12:57 PM ^
I'm not nervous about losing this game, but I'm officially nervous about the team once the conference schedule starts.
December 30th, 2018 at 12:58 PM ^
Good thing Poole and livers showed up. No one else seems to have
December 30th, 2018 at 12:58 PM ^
This team has a nasty habit of over relying on one guy for all the offense. If one of Brazdeikis, Mathews, or Poole aren’t going off, we’re in trouble.
December 30th, 2018 at 12:59 PM ^
Stop taking the midrange jumper, it's been established that they're bad shots.
December 30th, 2018 at 1:00 PM ^
watching these misses from 5 ft are hard to watch
December 30th, 2018 at 1:01 PM ^
Simpson going 1 on 3, not the best look.
December 30th, 2018 at 1:03 PM ^
Fuck this shit!
December 30th, 2018 at 1:03 PM ^
BPONE is even starting to creep into the viewing of basketball. 4-9 Binghamton cannot possibly keep this close ...
