Beer Truck Position Potential, etc.
I think there is huge potential for Minor to become the Beer Truck. As stated in Brian's post above, he loves smashing into people. A backfield of Minor lined up at 'Beer Truck', McGuffie at 'Slaton', Brown at 'White' and Odoms at 'Devine' is extremely exciting to me and I think would terrify linebackers. Especially if you could get Butler and Mathews on the field in that formation and Brown has the ability to get them the ball, although that is seriously doubtful.
Minor was originally recruited as a Fullback, too.
Why have we not seen/heard any McGuffie to Reggie Bush comparisons?

i have to agree with brian that grady seems like a better pick for the MX position. he is just as strong and N-S oriented running. I'm not sure if Minor has the hands to catch as many passes though. Then again I haven't seen Grady hold on to a ball in a long time (if ever).
Also, I believe Devine replaced Slaton at the same position. I could be mistaken.
And Reggie Bush accepted gifts from boosters. That's why.

McGuffie has not played a single down yet, and nobody has any idea how they are going to use him. It would be nice if they used him like USC used Reggie Bush, but that backfield was the polar opposite of the one we're going to have this year.

The problem with Minor at the fullback is that he likes running people over much more than he actually succeeds at it.
