I personally cannot wait until we host that dirty coach who in no way is even remotely competent at coaching football and his team. I want them to play bush league in an inevitability lopsided loss, I want a shutout, I want us to go for 2 every time, I want booing, I want the students to say even more than "you suck bitch," I want a rushing rutger, and I want their late last-minute desperation drive for a shred of "respectability" to get stuffed by the defense. I cannot fucking wait for this game. Fuck sparty, Go Blue.

I hope you are right, but they got down 30-10 in the 4th quarter back in the 2016 game and played extremely tough the rest of the way.
Dantonio has instilled a hatred of us into his players. This is more than their super bowl.

I have no doubt that Michigan is jacked up for that game. But remember that this is going to be Dantonio’s last stand. I expect him to literally pull out all the stops and throw everything, including the kitchen sink, at Michigan.
Don’t be surprised if we’re midway through the third quarter or even entering the fourth and it’s a one score game. If they beat Michigan, everything else that happens for the rest of the season is irrelevant to them.

I can’t speak for the team, but I would happily lose to MSU by three scores if it meant beating OSU was guaranteed.
Beating MSU is and always will be, for me, further down the pecking order Of priorities than OSU.

We need to get to the point where we beat both PSU and MSU almost every season. If that’s not happening, we’re not good enough to beat osu.

I am well aware that if we can’t beat MSU we’re not beating OSU. My sole point was to demonstrate my personal priority list for rivalry games. Put everything in a vacuum, treat each event as isolated, and I would happily trade an MSU loss for an OSU win. If it meant a win over OSU was guaranteed I’d happily watch us lose to MSU by multiple scores. I’m more than aware that this isn’t how it works in real life, but that’s not the point here.

If Michigan beats ND, MSU, and OSU this season I'd consider it a success. Yeah a Big Ten title would be nice, but beating the 3 main rivals would ease the pain.

THANK you. I absolutely believe this and continue to be infuriated by everyone who tells me that they didn't make the difference.
There were other things that also made enough of a difference, but a fairly officiated game with the same play by both sides, and we win that running away.
I understand that champions have to play over that, and that is why we will not actually be champions. But that doesn't mean that they didn't steal it. They absolutely stole it.

If they beat all 3 rivals it would be the best year we have had since probably 1997. I didn’t start watching football till 2004 so maybe 97-03 was a better year idk. 2006 was very close and so was 2016, but we lost to OSU so hard to say better. Even though both of those games were 50/50 games we probably should have won.
