BBrown: Ohio State Visitor List Update

Submitted by Brandon Brown on

A few more recruits have responded back to me to let me know if they are going to The Game or not.

GOING
2015 ATH Trevon Avery
2014 DB Tyree Kinnel (commit)

NOT GOING
2015 QB Kyle Kearns
2015 OL Bryce Meeker
2016 OL Thiyo Lukusa

Short and sweet. I'll probably do one last update Friday if necessary.

Happy Thanksgiving to eveyrone out there!

Always appreciate the recruiting updates. Thank you Brandon.

Happy thanksgiving to you and yours. You shouldn't take the day off tomorrow as there is a turkey and several pies for you to interview.

Who is this Brandon dude? Is he really an insider/recruiting guru or one of those random Internet guys with "inside sources?"

Yes - that is exactly who or what he is.  You are too smart for him and his little "I went to Central, teach, coach and am on the payroll of MgoBlog" ruse.

Good job sniffing out the disception Shamus.

HEY.....Happy Thanksgiving Magnus!

That we can show a close hard fought game. Rankings and stars don't matter Saturday, boys. Let's see the meltdown in their psychic income when they get played hard by an unranked Team. If I was a recruit I'd relish the chance to have a guaranteed crack at a contest of this magnitude every year. Not just when the planets align via schedules or bowls.

Anyone worried we have so many recruits coming to this game, which is typically a big game for us, but this year is a little ho-hum?  I am worried if we get soundly beaten, the boo birds start to come out, and the general emotions of our guys is down again after the game like last week, it could be really bad for recruits.  I don't think we have to win, but I also don't think we can afford to look bad in a loss either.

I do not know how much one game matters.  I have read that it mostly doesn't and have seen kids commit to Notre Dame that we were recruiting after we went in and beat them, but it can't be a good thing to get soundly beaten in front of high profile recruits, which I think is going to happen to us Saturday.
