And yet our defense will still somehow not be capable of drawing many holding calls.
I feel like holding calls are generally 25% the actual holding and 75% how the one being held sells it. And Don Brown doesn't coach his teams to sell a hold.. he coaches them to go all out 100% and get to the guy with the ball. Doesn't work well for getting holding calls, but that's an unfortunate part of the aggression our D plays with

Be that as it may, a defender being outright tackled should require zero acting to draw the flag.
I'm really excited to see some of these backup d-linemen and linebackers this year. Paye, Uche, Ross, Singleton, Anthony... I think that these guys have the potential to knock the living hell out of opposing rbs, tes and most of all qbs! September 1st can't come soon enough, Go Blue!

Agreed, think he's the guy after Bush gets drafted in the first round this year.
The way he said it, it sounds like Don Brown things Hutchinson will be in the rotation this year also (at least to some extent, like go in, empty his battery, come out and get a sip).

Ummm...no one's scoring on the defense unless they only put four dudes on the field and then still maybe not depending on which four.
Uche is 241 and still runs a 4.5 and I want you to think about that.. and he's going to be plugged in to various parts of the D, and we can do that, because of the way we systematically approach things. -Don Brown
