I just want to remind everyone that the OSU basketball staff, and perhaps the team, helped decorate the Carr house for Christmas shortly before Chad's passing and that their football team wore the symbol honoring the child during The Game.
I've been around a lot longer, i suspect, than a lot of you and enjoy the rivalry as much as anyone. So, let's keep things in perspective.

Not surprised. OSU's offense was a terrible fit for him. I was pretty shocked when he chose OSU in the first place.

He has to sit for 1 year from the day he transfers. I forget the kid's name but we had this same scenario happen a few years ago under Amaker. A local kid transferred back here from Arizona I believe during Christmas break and was eligible to play the next year when Big Ten season started up.

Basketball. Beilein recruited Grandstaff for awhile until he picked OSU out of the blue.
That's why I felt like this was note worthy because it's so early into the kid's career.

Grandstaff played AAU ball with current MSU guard Matt McQuaid. Beliein recruited both, but never offered either. He clearly liked Grandstaff better out of the two, but only McQuaid reciprocated the interested. Grandstaff didn't seem interested at all in UM.
