[Appreciation Thread] Thank you Brian and the rest of the mgoblog crew!

With the 2019 college football season underway, I figured there may be a few people out there who want to thank the Mgoblog staff (and those who support them) for all their hard work this off-season. We are all very fortunate!

I absolutely agree with everyone who is applauding the content. I've learned more about UM football, and about the game itself (thank you, UFR), than I've ever known.

But while we're applauding, can we get a round for the quality of the writing? I can't stand those blogs written by people who can't actually write - who can't craft simple declarative sentences, form them into a paragraph, and and have that paragraph convey a complete thought. (You know, all that stuff they tried to teach you in English 101).

Brian & Company could teach that class. Their articles are clear, concise, and complete. Moreover, they're funny and clever (two different things). They contain classical allusions, pop culture references, and some of the most maddening acronyms I've ever seen. (It was only last week that I finally realized what BPONE meant. When I did, I had the same reaction that I often have while reading this blog: "Damn, that's good!)

So here's a salute to the people who craft these words - and to the readers who respond with the same skill. You all make this a good place to visit.

Or, in the words of Willie Shakespeare: "I like this place, and could willingly waste my time in it."

The content on this blog is fantastic. I joined this blog nine years ago and it was honestly one of the better decisions of my life as a Michigan fan. The amount of time spent on UFRs, podcasts, HTTV, recruiting posts, position posts, opponent previews, and so much more is wild to think about. Love all of the content from Mgoblog.com but I definitely miss the transcripts from the pressers by every coach. I know. I know. I appreciate everything they do but thats my only little critique. But nowhere comes close to. Mgoblog.com

I honestly don't go anywhere else anymore. Was surprised to hear the Detroit News still existed yesterday. Knew the FREEP did b/c the level of their crappiness makes its way onto here too often.

After the last game last year, I stayed off this site for a month. I just couldn't deal with the meltdown on the site let alone my own meltdown. It was really hard to do as I felt like I lost part of my life. It was an addiction. I am so glad to relapse and back at it again. The best site by far. Thank you!
