Great start for Betsa! Let's heat up those bats now.
3 up 3 strikeouts......ND losing is good..We want the path of least resistance to the WCWS and the draw broke our way and now ND loses...all good!
They moved Blanco up the order!!!!! Yes!!!

battle tomorrow by the end of the top of the 5th
It feels like something they've been taught to do as a way to loosen up when the natural instinct is to tighten.
I've noticed that in softball for quite a while. That's nothing new
while talking to Romo on the mound.
After being completely overcome by humor and happiness, she then induced the next two Valpo batters into a foul pop-out and an inning-ending double play.
Keep smiling, Megan!
My daughter plays high school softball and this is pretty normal. The girls are generally upbeat, laughing, and smiling alot as opposed to the boys baseball players who are so serious and fearful of making a mistake. I think this culture has developed over the years and gets infusged at all levels.
000 = 0 Valpo
12- = 3 Michigan
Betsa has struck out 7 of the 10 hitters she's faced (other three were one ground out, one foul pop out, and one walk). That's pretty incredible.
intentional walk
Beat those craaaaaazy Lutherans!
Not to sound like a broken record but....GO BLUE!

Anticlimactic, but I'll happily take it, all the same.
