Alumni association single game tickets reminder and question

Submitted by tsabesi on

For those that haven't seen it, the Alumni Association is selling single game tickets to members May 8 for lifetime members and May 11 for annual members.

I'm considering buying tickets this way for the first time, and I'm highlighting it to the board hoping someone will let me know the section and row these seats are usually in (I can't seem to find it on the board or interwebz). Is the alumni section the one in the first 40 or so rows in the SW corner of the endzone?

South end zone. Unless changes are made, that is usually where they are located. In addition, the Alumni only get about 1.000 seats per game.

If it's a meaningful game, you will be mixed among opposing fans.  But they're mixed in too - it's not the formal opposing fan section - so it can be a little annoying at times, but not any big deal.

They are not the best seats really, kind of boring and out of the action.  If I'm able to get other tickets somewhere else for around the same price, I usually do it.

Another alternative I do if I can only get the alumin tickets, is to move over to the student section after half time.  It's a lot more fun, and nobody cares if you go over there.

I am too. I live far enough away that making it back for a game is tough, but I'll be in the area for Thanksgiving so I'm going to try to snag OSU tickets. I doubt they'll be going for much less than $100 come game time and will likely be going for more. My only reservation was that the seats might be near the top of the bowl, but it doesn't sound like that's the case.
