Albom/Harbaugh interview audio
Thanks for this!
No problem. Enjoy!
Did Mitch take him through downtown Detroit to serve soup to the homeless or does he only do that on Christmas Eve?
It's a shame that this blog has not been updated in a few years, but it's a treasure trove for folks (like me) who dislike Mr. Albom.

Once upon a time, Mitch Albom was a tremedous writer.
Then he spread himself WAY too thin and ... well, the same thing happened that happens to all once-great writers.
I think Albom used to be a great writer, too. But the problem I see with him is that he "marked out on his own gimmick."
Harbaugh obviously likes him, though, so he must have some redeeming factors. I am guessing Harbaugh respects his success.
Honestly, Albom has more talent in his pinky finger than most people have in their entire body.
Highly accomplished as a writer, novelist, playwright (less so), screenplay writer, musician (amateur but quite good), etc..
Not to mention having nationally syndicated shows and appearances.
Yes, he's become a product of the system, but anyone that pretends he's been less than good forever is really young.
Thanks as well. I particularly like how Harbaugh didn't participate in the usual hey-you-kids-get-off-my-lawn schtick, that kids these days are selfish and unconcerned with anyone but themselves. The fact that he talks about Twitter as a good thing also made me very happy...
Twitter for kids is just nothing but a tool for narcissism and worse.
I know people don't want to think this, but that's what it is.
I have children. I feel very confident in saying this. Don't even get me started on snapchat.
I will say that the stark, diametric difference between this interview and the Cowherd interview gives some credence to those who were saying that Harbaugh was being purposefully difficult. It certainsly helps that he has a long standing relationship with Albom but his candor really stand out.
I don't know, I just think it's interesting.
