Excuse. You won't see the junior and senior classes of top level talent if you have any interest in recruiting at a high level. It's one or two and done. So do you think Juwan has done a good job this year? I think he deserves another year buy t stop with the excuses, this is big boy basketball.

Pathetic!!!  We just played Rutgers, not a top 10 team, but fucking Rutgers.  You come out of the half and for 19 fucking minutes, not 9 minutes, you go 1 for 17, fuck that is beyond horrible.  What were they doing during the half, hitting the bong pipe!

That is like the football team coming out of halftime and having 5 straight series where you fumble the ball on your 1st 3 plays of each possession.  Just inconceivable!

Hopefully Howard is like Harbaugh and can figure out how to turn things around. But that hope is based entirely on one season and nothing else. After reading over and over again this season that Michigan was bound to figure it out by now based on that season, I’m not looking forward to those same people arguing that Howard is bound to turn things around based on that one season.

I would not necessarily get my hopes up trying to compare a first time head basketball coach that has won 54% of his games the last two years to a 20-year college/professional football coach who has won 72% of his college games and 70% of his NFL games and has been to numerous college and professional semi-finals.

Fire Juwan… he’s the Hoke, Frost of Michigan basketball… so many want to believe he’s going to get it right, they are blind to see he’s not a good coach, and recruiting has gone downhill..

This team finishes top 3 in the conference with Shannon. That's on the University. If our 5th starter or 6th man is Llewellyn, we probably make the tournament. That's bad luck. Neither is on Juwan.

His recruits have looked good -- Dug, Reed, and Jett this year. Two starters and a rotation player as freshmen. The expectations are just blown out of proportion for some reason. Jett was better than freshman Stauskas or Hardaway. Dug was better than freshman and sophomore Zavier Simpson. Reed was better than freshman Mo Wagner.

People act like Beilein just had his freshmen ready to go every class and Juwan is clueless. The guy is starting 1 upperclassmen stud, a soph, two freshmen, and a 5th starter who is probably the worst starter in the Big Ten regardless of who he puts there.

Think about what you just said….if Jett is better than Nik and THJ, Dug is better than Simpson and Reed is better than Mo comparing everyone’s first year then please explain why we finished 17-15? And before you say well those teams had other players, I’m gonna pre-respond with this team has more top-100 players than any of those teams.

10/11 team had 1 (Smotrycz)

12/13 team had 3 (Nik, GR3, Mitch)

15/16 team had 4 (Mo, Irvin, Walton, Chapman)

22/23 team had 7 (Kobe, Reed, HD, Dug, Jett, Baker, TW3) - fine you want to throw out Baker than I’m throwing out Kam.

Yeah but those teams had more experience, right? The 10/11 squad had Novak, Douglass, McLimans, Horford and Vogrich getting major minutes and they won 23 games and almost beat Duke in the NCAA tourney.

Well, the 12/13 team was loaded, right? Trey Burke was a sophomore not even rated a top 100 player out of HS and THJ was a junior not rated top 100 out of HS….top two players on 22/23 squad were same classes - HD and Kobe Bufkin, both rated in the top 40 respectfully.

The 15/16 squad won 23 games without arguably their best player in Caris nor Spike for large chunks of the season.

With all this talent - we managed 17 wins this year in a crap B10 season…think about that for a second….17 wins…
