Special about Heroes and Survivors on ABC right now - it's called People Icons. Started off with Baby Jessica, now talking about Austin Hatch. Interviewing him. Great stuff.

It was a short spot and over now. I didn't plan on watching this, just had the TV on in the background in my hotel while I was working. It had a few video shots of his rehab which I hadn't seen before. I'm just amazed every time I hear the story.

And girlfriend Abby Cole after Michigan/PSU volleyball match a few months ago (was high school buddies with Abby's dad). My girls were thrilled as they love volleball and we had watched Austin's story on ESPN only a couple months prior. My daughter was looking through People Magazine this weekend and found Austin featured there too!! Pretty cool.
And I have to say, Austin and Abby are two of the kindest people I've met in a long time. Great couple. Unbelievably humble and gracious. Oh and their kids will be tall.
