60 Minutes of Hell With Karsen Barnhart
During my listening of the 3.5 hour victory lap podcast, I almost fell over when Alex uttered the phrase “60 minutes of hell with Karsten Barnhart.” But while I’ve been on PTO I check the ESPN app for basketball scores and came across an ESPN+ article discussing the best players in each power 5 league, and to my surprise KARSEN MFing BARNHART gets name dropped by an unidentified B1G defensive coordinator after Olu is briefly compared to Marvin Harrison Jr. as the best player in the league.
This is my own, personal icing on the cake after the last two years and Alex’s podcast comment. Just some filler content outside of that, but felt the need to share. Link ($; ESPN+) below:

Keep winning the Joe Moore Award until the collection extends the length of the weight room.

They need to rename it the Sherrone Moore Award, to hell with Notre Dame!

OMG, that trophy...is there a body inside of it?!

Yeah, the collective bodies of all of the defenses they have MURDERED over the season.

Fun fact, it actually doubles as a game cabinet. They've got Settlers of Catan, Risk, Monopoly, all the favorites. There's also a few old DVDs on the lower shelf, a couple candles, and a pack of AA batteries.

Also needs to be dusted. And those knotted up cords behind the cabinet are really pissing me off. Somebody should take some initiative and clean that shit up. What do you guys do around here all day........

Risk and Monopoly are a nice start. But if it doesn't have an original CD of Age of Empires, Conqueror's edition, I don't know how you can rightly call it a "game cabinet."
(A copy of Descent would be a nice addition, since JH appeared in the original advertisment.)

I think it comes with a buffet dinner.

Actually this trophy I believe gets passed around, it doesn't get made every year. Maybe I'm wrong? I just looked it up, yes it does get passed around, but it didn't mention if the schools name is added to the trophy every year. It weighs 350 lbs, and hopefully it stays in Ann Arbor for a long time!

Can Trente Jones play LT or is likely to be persi? Barnhart seemed to hold up just fine against OSU and has seemed solid at RT getting a lot of PT this year after jones’ injury.

I'm confused ELI5?

Also confused. Do feel the need to add that I played football (very poorly) in the same conference as Paw Paw and the fact that someone from that conference started games at Michigan is wild to me. Not sure I can name any other big time college basketball or football player from that conference.

Come on there is a ton of D1 talent coming out of the Wolverine conference!! Edwardsburg, Niles, Otsego, Paw Paw, Plainwell, Sturgis, 3 rivers and I know i'm missing at least one. Joking aside, I'm familiar with these teams as my son plays varsity soccer for Mattawan.

I live in Georgia now but I'm originally from Three Rivers so seeing this conference discussed here is wild.
