That's a confirmed 5 Noon games before the season even starts where there are bound to be other Noon games announced as the other games approach.
I like it. I know people are mixed.
Road noon games are great, love seeing Wisconsin at noon. Home noon games take our shit atmosphere and cranks it even further into the might as well not be there zone.
The only games that should be at noon are the ones against tomato cans.
As a west-coaster, I LOVE the noon start. Sleep in, set the alarm for 8:45 grab coffee and a breakfast sandwich in time for the 9-9:30 am start and at the final whistle the day is only just getting started.
And one of the true reasons I miss the West Coast... was is nice getting up early, heading over to the Inn Zone off of Rainbow Blvd in Vegas, and grabbing a 9AM beer.
Nooners...
Damn my ex was good at those! *sigh*
A night game for MTSU will be odd but at least it is in August instead of November. Would've preferred Iowa to take that slot.
For the rest - The Game is always noon and I'm real good with that. Nooners in September though? No way. Give me the 3:30 timeslot and keep AA as the focus of the day - tailgating, the football game, then an evening on the town. Take advantage while the weather is much more cooperative.
That said though - ND needs to be a night game.
Get the alums home before dinner
