2023 in-state QB Dante Moore invited to All-American Bowl
Class of 2023 Detroit (MI) King quarterback Dante Moore was invited to the 2023 All-American Bowl. Listed at 6'2" and 180 lbs., he's a 4-star, the #3 pro-style quarterback, and #12 overall to 247 Sports. Last year he passed for over 2,700 yards and threw 33 touchdowns. Michigan, Oregon, and Penn State have all offered, along with a bunch of others.
Moore trains with Devin Gardner, and I would say the early favorite is Michigan but there's still obviously a long way to go.
These HUDL embeds on mobile never show up properly for me.
Isn't that a bit early to get invites to the AA bowl? Pretty impressive
He's not even supposed to be here today
37???
In a row?
Only 3 INTs, nice...
I coached against him in the playoffs this year. He’s the real deal. Very high IQ, throws a real nice ball, agile in the pocket. He will remain one of the top QBs in his class
If we want him, I hope there are no hard feelings w/ Gardner for how things turned out w/ his protege Milton.
Milton had every opportunity ! He just didnt get the job done!
Seriously! I just don't get the narrative that the staff did Milton wrong or didn't position him for success. I wanted Joe to win just as much as the other guy, but he just didn't get the job done. He was afforded every opportunity to succeed this year.
This kid looks pretty good for a sophomore...Hopefully, we can land him and he can follow a successful JJ career!
The only argument one could imagine is that Milton was pushed out, but that doesn't make much sense for his position and that we immediately hit the portal after. I'm still a fan of him.
Could it be that meritocracy will finally apply to the QB position on a Harbaugh coached team?
I'm not confident, but I feel like we HAVE to have a good year, you can build around guys like McCarthy, Moore, Edwards, Johnson.
We're starting to have connections to guys that give us the early edge like we did when we had Patridge, except now it's more than one coach and one state.
If this was Year 1, I'd feel like people would have patience, but if we don't perform the vultures are going to circle and there's not going to be any "looking towards the future."
Which is too bad because I feel like if you give this staff 3 recruiting classes they'll recruit you a team truly worthy of being in the CFP.
I just watched 2013 Michigan/MSU...fingers crossed Harbaugh is a Beilein situation. Not confident but one can dream.
That is one heck of a tape to be able to be put up as a sophomore.
Dude is the first PSL QB to get this type of buzz in a long ass time...Jayru Campbell had early hype (before making some knuckleheaded ass, life altering conflict-resolution choices), but he wasn’t this highly regarded this late in the process.
Can he play DT?
