That reminds me of when I threw shot in college.
Whenever I mentioned to various friends/acquaintances that I was on the track team, they'd say, "Oh really? Which event?"
My 6'3 / 285lb self would never miss a beat when I replied, "The hundred."
I'm no longer 285lbs. On the plus side (pun intended), I'm not all that far off.
Knew some cats who were killer in the weight room doing bench and curls but when it came to disc and shot, they would get their asses murdered. Bench isn't everything unless all you are going to do on the football field is throw guys off of you (with extreme force I might add) while you're on your back on the grass from getting knocked on your ass.
Wow! Would be nice on future UM offensive line.
A 60+ foot throw has been scientifically proven to equal pancaking Nick Bosa 10 yards past the line of scrimage...
The 2019 class is stacked in Michigan. Hope we're going hard after Devontae Dobbs, Logan Brown, Julian Barnett, Marvin Grant, Mazi Smith, and Jaren Mangham.
Third in the state at 40 feet? What division was that? Q?
I threw 50.1 in my only year of track and didn't even get invited to state.
I wish I'd thrown all 4 years.
2019 has legitimate potential to be the best class in Michigan history if things continue shaping up how they are
So far we have high interest from #1 QB JT Daniels, #1 RB Noah Cain, Logan Brown, Devonte Dobbs, Beastly D-Line man Christopher Hinton is pracically salivating over the chance to play at Michigan and he's the #14 player in the class, ATH Josh Sanguinetti who is #38, Marvin Grant from Detroit is around #100, etc etc etc
We just have to beat Ohio State and win a bowl game and our 2019 class will be stellar
