2015 Cotton Bowl Open Thread

The Michigan State Spartans versus the Alabama Crimson Tide.  This will be a fistfight.  Saban against his old team, the much disrespected, huge chip-on-the-shoulder Spartans.

some speed and depth - he will be able to scheme and coach UM to beat anyone. If MSU can play with Bama and this UM team had them beat until IT happened, then look out. No wonder the SEC coaches are so threatened by the Summer Swarm and othe JH tactics ...

Glad McDowell has one more friggin year and then off to the NFL early.  Have to believe MSU has 3 losses without him and UM would have 1 more win.  Damnit.

bama. I dunno man. At what point do we all have to admit that it's more likely that msu is THAT good rather than everyone playing down to them? They look like they belong on that field with a team that has 5 stars littering their 2-3 deep. Something about msu and big games, man. They are determined to punk you and put it in your head that they belong. You have to begrudgingly respect it. Fuck msu.....lol....I just don't know how they have a team who's last 4 classes likely average a full 1.5-2 stars less than Bama. I don't other than PEDs but that's a bogus excuse.

If Alabama wants to win this game, Coker will need to throw the ball.

MSU is stacking the box tonight. Henry is going nowhere, and Julio Jones/Amari Cooper ain't walkin' through that door. Calvin Ridley needs to step up big time tonight.

I think Kiffin has been fine - you guys who want to run Henry 40x in a row up the gut - MSU lives for that. Defense is built to stop that.  Attack edges, soften up the middle later.  Even Purdue does that vs MSU with success.
