Blaha: Rick Mahorn, who does radio, was in the center of press row and went up to make sure that the gals, one of our official scorekeepers, wasn't injured — and that one of our longtime statisticians, who is physically impaired a little bit, didn't get hurt. I saw Ricky taking care of business.

Mahorn: You do what you gotta do sometimes in life.

Further reinforces that Stephen Jackson is one of the biggest morons in sports.

I was only in 10th grade IIRC when this happened, but I remember watching it with my jaw dropped and eyes wide. Never expected to watch something like this. Black eye, not just for the NBA, but for sports and fans in general.

This is wonderful.  I now have an image of him sitting "nonplussed" while surrounded by people are throwing beers, chairs, and haymakers.

This was the absolute worst sports weekend in my lifetime. Malice at the Palace on Friday night, the beginning of Troy Smith's reign of terror the day after, the Pistons lost again on Sunday, as did the Lions and Red Wings.

The horror, the horror.
