Michigan vs Western Michigan 2021 Photos
Greetings, Michigan fans, Patrick Barron here. Some of you may know me on Twitter as "Your Photographer Today". Myself, along with Bryan Fuller, will be covering most of the Michigan football games this season (with some special guests along the way). While you will be seeing most of our photos scattered throughout the front page, I wanted to start doing a weekly Diary highlighting our work.
If you'd like to see our entire sets from the weekend, check out our full galleries at the links below. We typically have over 100 photos per game!

With that out of the way, check out some highlights below!
It's difficult to describe being back in Michigan Stadium as anything but surreal. Like many of you, my 2020 was pretty rough. Hearing Carl Grapentine's voice, hearing the marching band, and seeing the players take the field felt like a dream of a forgotten time we were told to accept as "The before times. In the long long ago."
But here we are once more, another season of Michigan football. It's nice to feel normal again, even if just for a little while.
Ladies and gentlemen, COACH Mike Hart in the maize and blue.
Poor, damn, Ronnie Bell. Thankfully he gave more than a game's worth of photo highlights in just the first half.
Mischief managed:
Shout out to the basketball team for showing their support.
In particular, I would like to highlight Jace Howard's reaction to the SOCOM parachuters landing in the stadium:
MIKE SMITH. BUT HE'S GOT A NEW HAT.
Ok I know this is a football post but one (two) more: Juwan Howard dancing with Franz Wagner:
Blake Corum: star of the show?
Cade McNamara: PFF star of the show?
Welcome back, everyone.

Thanks for posting these pictures. Does anyone else get misty eyes when seeing pictures of the team coming out of the tunnel?

Hey Patrick, Your Meechigan Football seat neighbor Andy. Fantastic shots as usual. Remember to not carry salami in your pocket when shooting Grizzlies. Car ready for today's Game:
