The trophies will continue until the line improves. The latest:

Moody was 22/24 on field goals and 4/6 from beyond 40 with a long of 52, and 56/56 on extra point tries. His perfect 4/4 night at Nebraska was the difference in that 32-29 victory, and his popup kickoff kept opponents to the third-worst kickoff return efficiency in the country, according to FEI, which placed Michigan’s special teams 1st overall this year.

Congrats Jake!

Well-deserved. He was instrumental for this team as it figured out things offensively, especially with our early tendency to settle for FGs in the red zone.  It's easy to forget about him because we haven't needed him much recently with all the TDs we're putting up, but without him this team might not be in the playoffs right now.

Thanks for posting. Throughout the season, I had a general sense of confidence in Moody. But I didn't realize just how solid he has been until seeking his stats in the post!

Absolutely awesome! It's impressive what a weapon a good kicker can be - not to be overlooked. Congratulations, Jake!

I like these post season awards going to Michigan guys.

Congratz Moody!  He has been a great and consistent kicker (esp not worrying about extra points) and I feel his leg has gotten stronger this year.  He consistently puts it out of the the endzone so in the NFL he can handle both kickoffs and field goals.  It's been a great story as he wasn't really suppose to be in the picture when Nordin arrived at Michigan yet rotated in and out while he was there. When Moody (especially within 40 yards) steps on the field I just don't worry if it's going to be made.  Great season and I hope he has a long and great career in the NFL.  He for sure deserves it.
