How Many Football Games Will Michigan Win This Year? (Poll)
I got bored and started to wonder how many games the board thinks Michigan will win this year. Link below.
11-1
Offense takes a big step forward this year with the passing game. That then opens up our already good run game which makes everything flow better for the play calling.
Defense is as usual - Excellent.

Is Peters going to be 2nd string? Everything I have been reading is saying McCaffrey. But maybe Peters will be.

Ed Warinner, an improvement over Drevno/Frey.
Chris Partridge exclusively coaching safeties, an improvement.
McElwain designing the offense/coaching WRs, an improvement.
Sherrone Moore coaching TEs, an improvement.
Al Washington reunited with Don Brown, an improvement.
Almost the entire defense, and much of the offense, with 1 year more experience, an improvement.
How many wins does that equal?

If Patterson plays, UM loses only game - at OSU, which will be good enough to make the B1G championship, win the B1G championship and make the 4-team national playoff. This scenario UM wins 12 games. (Wins semi-final, loses NC game.) 12-2 at the very end.
If Peters is the QB, UM loses at East Lansing and loses at Columbus. UM finishes regular season 10-2, doesnt go to the B1G championship, but does earn a NYD6 bowl game and wins their NYD6 game. In this scenario UM finishes 11-2.
Either outcome is a great season. Obviously we would all prefer the first outcome.
This season will be pretty much a repeat of last season. Tougher schedule and with no offense to sustain drives the defense will be asked to do too much. Need a more balanced team! If offense was even somewhat on the level as Don Browns dudes one might have a little more optimism. Just don't see it though. Tough season again this year.
Too many are saying Notre Dame will be a loss. I'm expectinng the defense to be very tough on Notre Dame, very hard for them to score. Michigan won't have to score a lot to win.
