TGIF POSBANG - Final Four Edition!!
lo, those 29 years ago....
The next morning all the news shows were showing footage of a guy hanging off a stoplight on S. University after we won. I think he's still there.
29 years ago when Rumeal hit those? Got DANG I'm getting old. Thanks for the reminder, Xtra...
And spending a winter in Steamboat working for ea buddy of my dad (both M grads). Watched at his house on the mountain. What a night!
I was a junior in high school and was in Vail watching. That and the academics pretty much sealed the deal on where I wanted to matriculate.

It was glorious running down S. Forest with a mob of revelers and merging with every other similar student mob at the corner of South U. I think a store awning also came down with kids climbing all over it. Unforgettable. My only other memory like this, a pale second, was running down the center of Jefferson avenue in Detroit towards downtown after the Wings finally won their Stanley cup years later.
This'll be my 6th final four as a fan (one I was too young to really remember). Go Blue, and let's up that title count!
Another thread suggested Friday night ratings would be low, but might Easter Sunday final have been as large as an influencer?
Loyola isn't used to this, I'm sure they are suffering from all the travel and attention. Send them home, think of the children!
and your mother dresses you funny.
neg-bang away.
Win or lose this weekend, we've got the Coach of the Year teaching these players.
Beilein Forever
He taught McGary how to break the Syracuse zone in one week.
Maestro.
Happy 165th Birthday, Vincent Willem van Gogh! Ear’s Lookin' At Ya!
Hoping for TWO Starry Starry Nights for Michigan on March 31 and April 2 in San Antonio! And two more Starry Starry Nights for Michigan on April 5 and April 7 in St. Paul! GO BLUE!
That's harsh, hope he's okay...

Good luck. Hang in.
Bang Away! Lets play two this weekend.
Exciting times for many of our teams.
So ready for the beat down tomorrow night. Will go from there...
Remember that we're playing with house money. We were down and out, and heading for the door because we weren't supposed to be that far, when Poole dropped in his last coin and pulled the bandits arm. He hit the jackpot! And so here we are, playing with house money - nothing to lose. Enjoy it, boys, play light and free, have fun, and things will take care of themselves.
GO BLUE!!!!
So many POSBANGS lately - here is to a few more in the next few days!
You know, for as much pain as these threads cause some people on the board, I fully expect those same people - if we win on Saturday and, dare we hope, on Monday - to be in those threads celebrating with everyone else. Then, of course, on Tuesday, they'll go back to telling everyone that enough is enough.

Flying down at six tomorrow morning. Prognosis for a productive work day looking slim. Go Blue.
Here's to Z finally getting recognition when he's Final Four MOP.

I've been there once for the Michigan - Hawaii game and it was packed ! If you don't have reservations you will be standing for sure. They pump up the volume so you can hear the game good.
3 day weekend and a Final Four weekend.
And thank you very much for my long awaited inclusion into the thousand point club

Heard a lot of "Go Blue" this week here on vacation, except from two Sparty fans working at hotel who asked me how many Michigan shirts I have and why I was rubbing it in on them ( not enough is obvious answer). This team can climb every mountain. Going home today to watch from home tomorrow. Happy Easter to everyone here too.
