That was a great game. One of my favorites ever.
Washington just kept scoring. And Michigan did not fold like usual in the Rose Bowl, they just kept on scoring with them until they won.
That Michigan could win a Rose Bowl in a shootout was amazing at the time. Especially since Washington dominated us the year before in the Rose Bowl and we couldn't do anything on offense.
