College Bars in Manhattan (a list via Reddit)
"With Gameday in NYC this weekend, I wanted to test the assertion that every school had its own bar in Manhattan. I've spent the past six hours trawling alumni association Facebook pages to find, ideally, a bar that there are currently consistent, publicly listed gamewatches at for the school, although consistency is the hobgoblin of small minds and I probably messed up in a few places"

I just moved from NYC after living there for 8 years and I don't remember there being more than 3 official Michigan bars in NYC at any given time. There are unofficial ones that pop up from time to time, but those don't usually last without the alumni support.

I'm sure you're joking, but to give you a sense of what it actually costs I usually spend between $50 and $60 (including food and tip) per football Saturday at the Michigan bar I go to in Manhattan.

That's pretty damned reasonable. Never been to NYC. Chicago of course. But $60 is easy for a night out in any damned small city/city in the country so for the course of a 4 hour sitting watching a ballgame, that's pretty good.

I feel sorry for everyone living in Manhattan. Props.

I am happy that is only five and the number should be even less. Once, my assignment writer has told me that when he was in college days a bar fight amongst students ensued. This killed two talented young men who were very drunk thanks to the bar facility.

I blame the educational system for it.
Get a perspective on personal accountability.

Wait, Indiana shares a bar with UCF? I wonder if Scott Frost wanders in occasionally and claims to have outhit the Indiana fans.
Interesting list though - surprised certain schools apparently didn't have a readily available listing, but then by the time you get to the Sun Belt or Mountain West, we're talking about maybe a party of six and who the hell cares which bar, right?

There are a few Brother Jimmy's in the city but Union Sq. always has a lot of UM fans.
