Cincy fluff article on HOW they'll beat Michigan

Submitted by Blue 4 Life on

I'm a homer but this goes beyond anything I could have ever come up with. This idiot that writes for Cincy actually is picking them to beat Michigan by a score of 34-31.

He highlights portions that say they "MIchigan " Got By " Florida and spelled out that the Bearcats held back against Austin Peay so they wouldn't give up their playbook.

Once you comb through the hype, it wasn’t a blow-out win or even that impressive of a win over Florida. Think about it. The Gators were actually up at the half 17-13, and only trailed Michigan by nine with under two to play in the fourth quarter.  With 1:37 left in the fourth, Florida QB Malik Zaire failed to secure the ball dropping back out of the shotgun into his own end zone. Michigan’s defense caused Zaire to fumble and recovered it for a touchdown bringing the score to 33-17. It was a close game, despite that Florida failed to score an offensive touchdown, suspended ten of its best players, and Florida was prevented from fully preparing because of Jim Harbaugh’s late-roster-release-weak-sauce-move.

This is some funny $hit

The Michigan -34 line is almost enticing enough to go against my rule of betting with my favorite team. I've got some money in a free play, so I might jump on this; I could see this being a 50+ point win. Anyone else jumping on this line?

I am in need of four tickets for the game. Looking to bring my whole family. If you have some reply back. How likely am I to be able to get four tickets Together on getting Day there? Go blue.

I honestly could not name any notable player on Cincinnati right now, and I like to think that I follow all Midwest teams pretty religiously.

Cincinnati, the Dixie part of Ohio. Domers and Buckeyes everywhere you go. Xavier sucks. If only the Ohio river extended just a little further north so they could be part of Kentucky like they always wanted.

I sniff locker room motivation for the defense especially. I have abundant confidence in Harbaugh to not overlook any team and have the players ready.

I also won't even imagine what it's like to run out of the tunnel at Michigan stadium, but something tells me it is quite special. I am guessing that will be special for the young guys and might cause them to have some extra emotion that would work in Michigan's favor.

Harbaugh doesn't take any opponent too lightly. Brown smells blood in the water. On paper, this should be a massacre by halftime.

The only thing I'd worry about is if Fickell invites Tressel to come speak to Cincinatti before the game. Tressel would work some kind of demonic voodoo magic to make that game go down to the last play.

other then I guess he's a home town guy and trying to give the fan base some hope.... I think Florida is a bit better then Cincy and our game with Florida wasn't even close..... I think it translates into a victory for UM, but that's just me....
