Former Indiana WR James Hardy found dead
His body was found in a river days after he was reported missing. Hardy was pretty darn good for the Hoosiers amassing nearly 3,000 yards and 36 tds. He was a big part, both on and off the field, in 2007 helping IU break their 14 year bowl drought following the death of then coach Terry Hoeppner. Hardy played a few seasons in the NFL. Story appears to still be developing. He was 31. Rest in peace.

wtf...RIP young man
Hope his family is okay.
Sounds like real struggles with mental illness. Terribly sad for the young man.
I remember going to the Indiana game in 2006 in Bloomington and although Hardy did not play a lot, as I recall, he was fun to watch when he was in there.
Very sad to see someone taken that young. Thoughts and good vibes to his family - I cannot even imagine what this is like for them.
31 years old.... RIP
really tragic news... i remember thinking he was a really good receiver at Indiana back in the day... really saddened by this turn of events...
Yeah this is terrible. I played with him during summer ball a couple years. Heck of an athlete, seemed like a pretty good guy. Spent some time at IU with him as well (some of my old teammates played ball with him there) and he always had a smile on his face.
