Definitely rooting for Gonzaga. I have UNC winning in a bracket entered in a Craft beer-pool but I'm not sure anything that great would come to me anyway. Ergo, Go Gonzaga. Hoping for a fun game, regardless. No way last year gets replicated but a good game nonetheless is all we can hope for.

I haven't watched much of UNC this year, other than a few tournament games. Do they just win games by getting lots of offensive rebounds and fast break points? For a team that (I assume) is loaded with elite recruits, their skill level seems surprisingly ordinary.

If you are a third-stringer, you are going to get your fantasy and play in the National Championship. The refs are going to foul the 1st and 2nd stringers out by the under 10:00 min mark.
Man, this is bad basketball. It's "exciting" only because of the close margin and the stakes at hand. Guys on both teams are just throwing up garbage and hoping to get bailed out with a whistle (which, in fairness, frequently comes).

This is a horrible game. The refs have ruined this but these teams also can't hit anything.

What if UNC wins this ugly atrocity of a game and its marred by poor officiating and then the NCAA actually hands down a punishment against them next week? The NCAA should just fucking disband.
If UNC wins this I would argue they would be the worst team to ever win a national championship.
I wouldn't worry. The NCAA doesn't have it between the legs to hand down any punishment to Carolina.

Gonzaga has 3 guys with 4 fouls now.
should have had his 4th and no foul on Berry there, so it's not really a bad break, and it's a lack of control of limbs thing, which, again, is a real thing.
Karnowski is better from 15 feet than 3 feet.
