I've had it with this dump! We got no food, we got no jobs... our pets' heads are falling off!
Seriously though, 2016 has been one sadistic masochist. RIP Mr. Sager and all the others who have left us this past year.

I hate to give you a spoiler, but some famous people will die in 2017, too.
December 15th, 2016 at 4:44 PM ^
Yeah, and some non-famous ones too. Potentially even some that we know. It's a bummer, but unfortunately it's a problem we won't be solving anytime soon.
December 15th, 2016 at 4:59 PM ^
Well, we won't be solving the problem of death with that attitude, sir!

I'm so sick of this meme. People get going with it around mid-November *every* single year, and every year it's "no, THIS year was the worst." Like, relax. You can't be miserable every December.

The Cubs won this year, so its a pretty good year in my book. Sorry about Craig Sager, however, as he was one of the good ones.

Aw, hell. May he rest in peace.

He seemed like a good guy. Tough, for what he went through. RIP, good sir.

I loved Sager. Never took himself too seriously. Wore the most ridiculous suits I have ever seen. Seemed like one of the good guys. BOO on you 2016.

I feel ya. My sister-in-law beat it several years ago. Now it may be back. Fuck cancer.
December 15th, 2016 at 3:56 PM ^
Why are all these people dying?
Why do people die?
Why does everyone have to die?
Well I, for one, don't think they do! Look at the evidence, of allllllllllllll of the people ever born in alllllllllllll of human history, about HALF of them are STILL fucking living right this very second! Yes, people have lived and died before sometimes, but what, you think everyone's about to just start dropping like flies?
7 billion people and you're seriously betting that ALL of them are gonna die??? I find that preposterous!
Goodbye Craig (Even though you're feeding into the conspiracy theory that we're all going to die!)
December 15th, 2016 at 3:56 PM ^
almost every week for the past couple months. Death sucks but without it new generations would never get to enjoy the earth! Too bad everyone just cannot live to be over 80 in good health.
December 15th, 2016 at 3:58 PM ^
RIP, Craig, you were one of the good guys.
My stepdad is going to be really bummed. He quite liked Sager and got a kick out of his ridiculous suits.

As somebody who also has the C word and just today got good news (a previous test that came back poorly was retaken and the results were much better) I feel real bad for his family.
It's a terrible, terrible desease.

Wow - I haven't followed the NBA like I used to and had no idea he'd been battling cancer.
I'll never forget his amazing sport coats. RIP.

Mannn, it's a testament to the kind of person he was when everybody who was associated with him will sorely miss him. I was impressed with all the heartfelt well wishes he got from everybody in the NBA. Craig was loved.
