I was fairly impressed with Bredeson ever since week 1 against Hawaii. Looked like we ran the ball more effectively when he was inserted into the game. He's got a real bright future ahead of him. Personally hope Onwenu solidifies the RG spot next year so we don't have to worry about the interior of the line (Bred-Cole-Big Mike).

Why would you think that would solidify the line we really have not seen anything from Onwenu that makes him a sure thing. Loads of potential not withsatnding.

onwenu definetly recieved snaps
onwenu definetly recieved hype for harbaugh
onwenu really has showed as much or more than anybody else
bredeson/cole/onwenu seems plausible and potentially better than this year
tackles: JBB and true freshman?, ulizio/dawson/kugler/runyan
good luck newsome- believe it will be tough for him to be back

guys had a lot of love for Bredeson when the bus tour stopped in. Apparently DiNard-o was correct.
Is it even possible that WheatJr could play some OL? His official weight is 276, and I recall him straight blowing some guys off the line in the UFeRs.

They probably went with someone who started. Gary didn't play enough to accumulate the counting stats - 27 tackles, 5 TFLs, 1 sack.
The four d-line guys who made it all had at least 5 sacks.

Well done Big Ben!

Isaac Nauta, who Michigan was going after hard, made the list for UGA.

looks bright for him. I wonder if there is any chance of him moving to right tackle of if he is strickly a guard?

Hopefully we will have one or two freshmen all americans on the line next year as well.

And I'm glad the national media took notice as well. He's also class act: I'm taking a dinner break at Mr. Spots on State St the Sunday night after the immolation of Rutgers when who walks in but Ben and a couple of players I don't recognize. We chat it up a bit and it's clear he's very intelligent and motivated to see Michigan through to a B1G and a National Championship. There's little doubt his trajectory is to be a 1st round draft pick - I'm just so glad he didn't stay home and play for the Badgers.

I am guessing either Cole of Bredenson end up at OC next year. I doubt an incoming freshman take a starting spot consider they all seem to need technique work. That leave Newsom and JBB. JBB was benched for Braden if I recall and Newsome may need more time. Cole (with experience at LT) or Bredenson (supposedly newly beating Newsome out anyways) are the likely canidates. I would not be surprised it Dawson and Kugler finely step up for starting spots.
