Lewerke out for the season w/broken tibia

At least this will lessen the QB controversy. Doesn't do much for Sparty finishing strong.

"They intentionally broke his leg!" I don't remember that specific play, but sometimes things get broken in football, that's part of the game. I remember Michigan Monday from Colorado and instead of the author saying, "they only won because Sefo Liufau got hurt," they gave us credit for hitting him repeatedly until he got hurt. It takes a lot to hurt somebody with a clean hit. 

If Lewerke has a nice personality and is a genuinely good guy, I wish him a speedy recovery. If he's anything like the posters at RCMB who literally threaten to fight each other over mean internet comments, then he can heal on his own time, without my all powerful wishes.

That's a blow, I thought they could have used momentum from playing well yesterday to maybe get a few wins, and if it were me get Lewerke ready for next year. Tough break for that kid.

maybe like an animal caught in a trap that chews it's own leg off he broke it to avoid playing for such inept coaches? can't say I'd blame him

never want to see anyone get hurt, but I'm not sending him a card and flowers anytime soon either. hope he gets better health-wise and sucks on the field for his entire career.

He got plenty of experience. He learned that when a 300+ pound defensive lineman is running at him with his hair on fire that he should duck.

...a young QB like that would have really benefitted from the extra work during bowl practices.  Wait, what??
