Lewerke out for the season w/broken tibia

Per Dantonio. Tough loss for the Spartans. Would've benefitted a lot from the experience.

"They intentionally broke his leg!" I don't remember that specific play, but sometimes things get broken in football, that's part of the game. I remember Michigan Monday from Colorado and instead of the author saying, "they only won because Sefo Liufau got hurt," they gave us credit for hitting him repeatedly until he got hurt. It takes a lot to hurt somebody with a clean hit.

If Lewerke has a nice personality and is a genuinely good guy, I wish him a speedy recovery. If he's anything like the posters at RCMB who literally threaten to fight each other over mean internet comments, then he can heal on his own time, without my all powerful wishes.

How are they going to beat Ohio State and win the Big Ten now?

After crushing us so badly yesterday, they were supposed to be a lock for the CFP.

Wait, what?

That's a blow, I thought they could have used momentum from playing well yesterday to maybe get a few wins, and if it were me get Lewerke ready for next year. Tough break for that kid.

never want to see anyone get hurt, but I'm not sending him a card and flowers anytime soon either. hope he gets better health-wise and sucks on the field for his entire career.

That's a real shame, seems like he was starting to come into his own on a few plays Saturday.

Sparty or no, I'm always upset when a young guy gets hurt playing.
