Why do you upvote your own posts?
It's no big scandal or anything, but it's just kind of odd that a guy with over 50K points still feels a need to give himself another couple every post.

Click on the voting details tab below the main title of the post. You can only see who upvoted/downvoted the original post however.
Name? I don't see a Ronnie Kaye in here. He we'll feel better if we know his real name and not his screen name?

do you lose one of your points when you downvote someone??....
do you need a certain muber of points to be able to vote? I don't see that option
You need 100 points.
You're sort of almost there :P.

In the case of the poster above (umbig11), everytime he posts, he instantly has an upvote. He has to be upvoting himself.
I did click on voting details and noticed that I don't even recognize the names of the three who downvoted. In other words, in this case, the people who downvoted are people who don't actually contribute much of anything but feel compelled to downvote others' contributions.

you know he upvoted himself. if we can only see the voting details of the original post and not the comments??

No, that's not what I mean.
Whenever umbig11 posts, he instantly has an upvote. He's evidently upvoting his posts the instant they appear on the page.
I concur. His posts, even if not worthy of an upvote, have an upvote. His posts get an upvote before posts which actually are more worthy of an upvote have one.

He enabled, He enabled, He enabled!
BTW, FUCK penn state and all their delusional joepa loving fans and their plagarising coach!!!

Joe Pa's legacy. I had a neighbor a few years ago who was Penn State's mascot way back. He died before the Sandusky scandal, but had he survived, that would have killed him.

Rutgers University pretty much cured AIDS, so I'll do what they do.
Like Jerry Sandusky?

Like Michigan did after Michigan State and Princeton did it first.
It's all collaborative.
August 7th, 2016 at 10:10 PM ^
Right. Crisler did it first at Princeton in '35. Then Crisler did it at Michigan in '38.
Michigan State used the look before both schools starting in '33.
The New York Giants started using wings in 1930. The Bears in '31.
I would rather have nothing to do with Penn State.
We should give the players and coaches clothespins to put on their noses so they don't have to smell the stench when they play in Beaver Stadium.
