2018 LB Ovie Oghoufo committed to Notre Dame
2018 linebacker Ovie Oghoufo from Farmington Hills (MI) Harrison committed to Notre Dame. The cousin of Mario Ojemudia, he was offered by Michigan and MSU not long ago. He's 6'3", 207 lbs., the #22 OLB, and #271 overall in the 247 Composite.
Right now he's the only 2018 in-state prospect to have committed anywhere, at least in the top 27 prospects listed in 247. I'm not sure Michigan will have as much top-end talent in 2018 as there is in 2017, so I think the staff might be a little tighter with in-state offers in the next class.

I guess Domers don't like their families....
Well, come on now. It's a bummer, but let's not Ovie-react...
O-Vay!
A long way to go before he can sign though.
Maybe he'll change his mind once he sees those uniforms
Get him on campus, maybe we could flip him. The first step is OV.
The SDE that committed to MSU, decommitted about a week later, was going to choose Michigan until he decided to choose Alabama the day of he commitment, then decommitted from Bama and ended up at ND.
Long ways off for an '18 commit.
We need to get Mario to go talk to his cousin.
When cousin Mario Ojemudia heard the news, he was like:

Damn I thought we had a real good shot with that kid. There is still time to reel him back in.
