You'll remember recent news of the 27 pound gain. Lots to be excited about here!
But my real question is was he wearing shoes when measured? I assume not. Which makes me pretty excited.
Our strength and conditioning coach is amazing. He can make you stronger, faster, AND taller...

very tall for a baby
All height gains are good, right?
Yep. And all height losses are good too beacuse that was bad height and now the muscle is more compact and ready to dole out damage.
Especially if it's due to merely adopting a Marge Simpson hairdo! Is his hair blue now?

throw in 3 bpg while we're at it.
Hell, I'll take a couple TFL per game.
He's going to get autobenched a lot if he doesn't dial that back.

Stats for U-M's bigs are incredibly deceiving. Our bigs have such a narrow role on offense, and of course those figures tell you nothing about their ability to check, say, Alex Olah. Donnal was important in that we basically had no other option for much of the season. But there's a reason that Wagner is a legitimate threat to pass him despite having, like, three good games last season.

Some players with really flat feet might have to wear motion control shoes which adds a bit more padding. I dont know if that is a thing in basketball shoes (I'm 5'7" so not much basketball opportunities for me) but I know it is a thing for runners.

Probably the best thing to come out of the NBA combine is actual data to document the ridiculous height inflation. Everybody does it*
*Exceptions: 7 footers afraid of expectations (ahem, Kevins Durant & Garnett) and dudes who are 5'9 or less i.e., so short that their only option is to wear it as a badge of honor.

a 1/2 combo guard and a 3/4 combo forward so that we should have the 2/3 combo guard-forward "position" covered if our 4/5 combo big can adequately play rotation minutes and/or if our combo of freshman centers can combine to play 20 minutes then perhaps our German big can be a 4/5 combo forward than we'll be sitting back in our seats happily eating Combos.
by his superb towel waving from the bench?
Slim Shady cant believe the offseason changes.
