Was just watching an Australian movie on Netflix. Mystery Road. Pretty good, but sad.

I am unaware of that movie.

So was I until I saw it recommended on whatthehellshouldiwatchonnetflix.com.

I see us ending somewhere between 8-10. Most likely we'll finish right at 10. I don't see how they can keep us out with all the teams that lost tbh.

somewhere in there.
Sparty started off the year overrated, so given that, and sheer luck, will finish overrated.
Thanks for nothing, Urban....

But maybe sneak up to 8 or 9 due to style points and for crushing SEC

Drats. I already posted having ignored this. You are no doubt correct. The committee's final poll is that December one.

Almost surely, we jump OkieSt, NW, UNC, & TCU/Oregon loser, moving us up to 13th at worst. I think we also jump #9/8 AP/Coaches FSU but not #8/9 ND (who lost to OSU by 16 while we lost to OSU by 29). I really doubt we jump two-loss #6/7 Iowa.
So I'm going to guess we finish #12 in both the AP & Coaches polls.

Michigan above MSU in the final rankings would be delicious.

My prediction:
1. Winner of Bama-Clemson
2. OSU
3. Loser of Bama-Clemson
4. Oklahoma
5. Stanford
6. MSU
7. Ole Miss
8. Iowa
9. TCU-Oregon winner
10. U-M

My guess: If TCU loses, we finish Top 10 (as in precisely #10). As they are without Boykin, that'd be my hunch. I doubt we get to #10 otherwise. It'll frustrate some (I'm not one) but I also anticipate both Iowa and ND to not only remain in the top 10 but stay ahead of us.
My guesses:
1. Alabama
2. Clemson
3. OSU
4. Stanford
5. Ole Miss
6. Oklahoma
7. MSU
8. Iowa
9. ND
10. Michigan

at 9 after yesterday.

I will say 10. That would be incredibly symbolic for me...unranked to 10 in one season. Nice

I could see us as a preseason top 5 team.
January 2nd, 2016 at 6:44 PM ^
I think the question mark at QB and the end-of-season thrashing by OSU will keep people from getting to stoked about us
January 2nd, 2016 at 7:39 PM ^
The OSU game won't matter for the preseason polls. The only game anyone will remember is the bowl.
As for QB, I think pollsters will give Harbaugh the benefit of the doubt. I could see us starting next season around #5.
January 2nd, 2016 at 9:19 PM ^
Wrong. I think yesterday's win kind of balances the bad loss to OSU but both will be in voters' minds.

Stanford won't be ranked ahead of us in the preseason polls. They lose a ton.

I feel like there's unwritten rules to the polls that people follow no matter how inane they are. Since MSU and Iowa won their divisions, I'm wondering if the polls will have the stones to do the right thing and put OSU and Michigan in front of them
