Harbaugh introduces the Employee of the Year Award
Every facet of the program he pays attention to. Every detail.
From the color of the goalposts being changed in the offseason from white to Maize, to bringing back black shoes and white socks.
The winner gets an all-expense paid trip to the Citrus Bowl and a cash prize.

Wish I loved anything as much as you love michigan football, WD.
December 16th, 2015 at 2:08 PM ^
And backs it up with great detail.

Am I reading too much into this next to Mattison's name? Maybe this is just for the bowl game but interesting that it would say that and not "Defensive Line Coach"
December 16th, 2015 at 2:15 PM ^
If you really don't love anything as much as he loves UM football, your name should not be "Carlos Spicyweiner." How about "Franklin Blandcock"?
December 16th, 2015 at 4:54 PM ^
very well
December 16th, 2015 at 5:06 PM ^
is unlikely to be happy about this. Just sayin'

It's BrewMom who will be crying herself to sleep tonight. Mabel will be fine.
December 16th, 2015 at 5:08 PM ^
Thank you for the laugh! How will MGoBrewMom find you with the new alias?
December 16th, 2015 at 5:45 PM ^
Thank you for my hardest laugh all day. Well done, my friend...
EDIT: I think you need to change your profile pic too. Sorry...
December 16th, 2015 at 2:30 PM ^
At 3am.
December 16th, 2015 at 5:24 PM ^
I'm the real Carlos Spicyweiner!
December 16th, 2015 at 5:30 PM ^
This is gonna get super confusing for the 5-10 MGoLadies on the board...
December 16th, 2015 at 5:39 PM ^
Let's be honest here, it's not just the MGoLadies that have a taste for Carlos Spicyweiner.
December 16th, 2015 at 5:38 PM ^
OH ITS ABOUT TO GO DOWN, CHIEF
December 16th, 2015 at 5:42 PM ^
We do need a good old fashioned bro fight around here! Bring it mr Blandcock!
December 16th, 2015 at 6:03 PM ^
You mean sword fight don't you - NTTAWWT.

The bios are equally awesome: "outworks his pay", "analytics wiz", "owns Full Tank Cleaning"...
Well done coach!

So I guess Jim Hackett did not make the final cut, damn! Harbaugh probably dinged him for not wearing khakis.

Was my first reaction, too.
The Harbaugh system is pretty basic: it works on the basis of overqualified workers outworking the competitors' merely qualified workers.
So yeah, raise, give it to him.
December 16th, 2015 at 2:10 PM ^
Harbaugh's attention to the the most minute detail of every aspect of this program is why he is absolutely going to succeed in restoring our program to atop the CFB world. The guy just lives, eats, sleeps and breathes his job.
There was a great Onion article (posted on the board) late this summer about how Harbaugh personally tested every single seat in the Big House and wrote a review of each. While obviously parody, it wasn't that far off. This guy is awesome.
December 16th, 2015 at 2:12 PM ^
Mattison already has an all-expenses paid trip to the Citrus Bowl. Give it to the secretary!
December 16th, 2015 at 2:46 PM ^
I was about to say the same. Actually I thought a lot of AD employees get to go for free.
December 16th, 2015 at 2:54 PM ^
Maybe if he doesn't win he'll have to pay his own way. I bet he could slip on those pimp ass shades and hitch hike pretty easily.

No disrespect intended to any of the other fine nominees, but the award should go to Mary Passink. When (if ever) she retires, the award should be named after her.
December 16th, 2015 at 2:21 PM ^
All worthy nominations, but Mary is one of those quintessential "lynch-pin" types that just makes everything work better.
December 16th, 2015 at 2:16 PM ^
I want the custodian to win. Don't know why.
Also, I just love JH.
December 16th, 2015 at 2:25 PM ^
NM. I want Mary Passink to win. She deserves it after so many years of dedication to the Program

Were we really that excited about the goalposts changing from white to maize?
December 16th, 2015 at 2:50 PM ^
Apparently, since there was a post on it with 140 comments on it over the summer.
December 16th, 2015 at 2:52 PM ^
For WD, it was probably a seminal event.

Mary Passink is still on the staff? Impressive. She was Bo's right hand woman, according to the books.

I'm friends with her son, Scott, on FB and that guy hangs out with Woodson, Griese, etc. like every single weekend. Assuming she gets the same perks as him, I hope someone else wins the award.

He even has the employees in competitions. It never stops with JH.

Love that Harbaugh's doing this, but I still have to nitpick at whoever wrote up the ballot: "The winner...will receive an all expensive paid trip..." Cumong, man!
Anyway, a very classy move by a coach that's doing all the things correctly, big and small!
